I am a student. This is a place where I will share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

ePortfolio strategy post
I am learning how solve family of facts problems, e.g. 63 ÷ 9 = 9 x __ = 63
Complete the following:
4X7 =28
7X4 =28
7÷4 =28
28÷4=7
45 ÷9=5
49÷5=9
9X5=45
5X9=45
What are the family of facts for the following 3 numbers: 8, 3, 24
6 X4= 24
8 X 3= 24
8÷ 3=24
6 ÷4=24
I LIKE THE WAY THAT
I know the strategy correctly, and know where the numbers belong.

ePortfolio sample-term1
Ally, I admire the honesty and clear reflection on your learning. You have shown that you understand how to form a hypothesis and then say whether or not it was true or correct.
I like the way you have formed lots of Inquiry questions to do with your learning too.
Your next learning step is to increase the language in your questioning so that you broaden them and therefore you will find out more.
Well done Ally.

The Water Slide
Waiting for a turn in the long line with with a big grin on my face. The line is getting shorter and shorter every minute. A cold shiver ran down my back and suddenly I am flying down the black, slippery mat as fast as a cheater. Little, clear droplets came flying towards me!" this is so much screaming with happiness!"Eventually, the fun was coming to an end. All of a sudden buckets of water tipped all of my face. I stood up slowly, and walked up the old, faded, tyre steps. Shivering like a frozen ice cube, sitting in the freezing snow. This is a time that will never be forgotten.
Student Reflection:
Ally, I like the way you have used a variety of vocab to create an image in the readersIn my writing one of my goal is to spell most multi syllable words correctly. I showed this goal here because my buddy marked my work, and my feedback was to make sure to spell everything correctly, so I listened to my feedback. In my writing one of my goal is to make sure it makes sense. I didn't show this goal here because I didn't read through my writing properly My next step is to read each sentence individually and make sure that all of my sentences make sense before I publish my writing. Teacher Comment: mind. Your writing has improved so much over the term! Well done. Your next step is to read each sentence individually and reflect of if they make sense and tell you all they need to. - Mrs Hunter |
